The Flying Dutchman - DownUnder
« on: February 26, 2014, 02:14:00 PM »
Hi All

I just landed a 1968 Woody Gilmore Front Engine Dragster here in Australia that raced in New England, USA.
The car arrived ten days ago and I mocked an engine up for the launch of the Snake and the Mongoose movie a couple of nights ago at our local Drive In Theater.

I am looking for any information regarding the history of the car, original paint scheme, track records, engine / transmission combination etc.

Any help would be kindly appreciated.

Kind regards
- Rob Thompson

Looks good. Good luck on finding its history. I've been searching for my Woody's original owner.
