Thanks DF, I know Ken really pays attention to the little things.  I'll keep you posted as it is being assembled.  Still trying to decide on color combinations?  Cars with same color chassis and body look kinda cool.

I agree but I can tell you painters get pissed off when you get them to paint your chassis with a tri-coat paint

Painting a dragster chassis is no fun at all . I use a touch up gun to do mine and you don't waste as much paint . A self etching primer and a single stage urathane works well .

proriv63 - yes, color combinations just as much an individual thing as selecting engine and engine components.  I’m sure you been looking at pictures to help your decisions, and going to carshow where there are lots of dragsters on display helps too.   Maybe you’ve already gone to the dragster museum in Ocala, I went last summer.  If you go to the museum, there’s lot on display (obviously vintage fed style, not so modern), however, many color combinations and styles to compare, full size too, better than pictures.  One way it might help you at museum, is after you view the color combinations there, will guide your decision in what doesn’t appeal to you, and you can close the door on those.  Knowing what you don’t like assists you to focus on what you do like in round-about way.   Your friend Ken can probably share/confirm with you, a lighter color chassis may show off the superior quality, fit and finish of your chassis and components compared to a darker color which doesn’t reflect light the same way.  You’ll probably put a smile on Ken’s face if you select a light color…  DF

I just may do that DF.  Picked up dragster yesterday (weather was 50 degress) in Philly!  Ken Keir did an outstanding job on design and craftsmenship. Highly recommend, I know he is starting a base car now... if anyone interested in new car. Pics are in my trailer when car arrived home.

Great progress!
Who makes the radiator? I need one like that...
Just keep the same amount of stuff on the right
as there is on the left. Seeing straight ahead is highly overrated....
