New/Old Short Twin
« on: May 11, 2013, 04:18:40 PM »
Hello all, new here to this very interesting forum, I have already picked up quite a bit of info that I`am sure will come in handy in the near future so thank you already!, the new in the title is twofold, 1st is cos I am new here and 2nd is because I`am building a new rail and Old is cos I`am trying to build it in a 59/60 style with a bit of safety for me too, and Twin is for the two 455 olds that hope will make for some old time smokey passes very soon.......... 296moon – new/old plus twin olds, got it.  Your roll bar arch sure is distinct, screams 50s to me : )  Chunky tubing look is from back in the day.
Welcome too.  DF

I was going the cogs and chain route but when sourceing the the greek coupler for the trans to olds rear I found that MW does male and female blanks for oddball rears/trans applications so lightbulb time and we made these, will it work? I`ll let you know in september which is when I hope is its first run.

This would make a great build thread in the "Your Builds / Photo Gallery " http://www.frontenginedragsters.org/forum/index.php?board=15.0
