personally, id make a trip and look at it.  if they have ever transported it without any bladder under motor i can flex and damage the chassis. just tough to buy a race car without actually checking it out in person.  you can get stung very easily.   if you found someone to transport, it will prob cost about 1200 or more im guessing. whever it is at, see if you can locate someone in that area to go look at it and maybe have them arrange payment.

Steve at wolfgang has a RED that he would sell.  ask him  how much without the pauter motor, turbo, etc.  idk if he would sale as a roller but worth a try.  its just sitting in his shop.

if you're really interested go look and see! the cost of the trip may save you  money and or headache, in person you might save on the price or they might through in some extras. it's always worth while to look and touch!
good luck!

I would definitely go look at it in person and make sure you fit in it comfortably. Make sure you can see good in it and that you have plenty of head and shoulder room.

Go see it
I do pre purchase inspections for my Norway guys--couple a week--I mostly look at dogs and save them lots of pain and money--if you don't go look you will get screwed--take cash and a trailer --
I would say half I look at have bogus titles and paperwork issues as well as just plain deceptive descriptions and if they are not crooks they are dumb and do not know what a real car is--Please go see it for yourself or at least pay someone to take a look for you
I have always had a fascination with fast cars at the expense of more normal character development

Better go look at it. Make sure you fit in the car with a firesuit on. I would want a current chassis inspection
at least 7.50. (you might want to sell it sometime)  Some older chassis have had a rough life...Lots of changes, etc.  Make sure the welds and mounting brackets are done properly. Your life depends on it.
