Radiator
« on: August 07, 2017, 04:01:35 PM »
Hi Guys,

I know this topic has been discussed many times but the biggest space I have in front of my engine to install a radiator is 13 inches. I know everyone says "switch to alcohol" but right now it's not in the budget. So with that said is there any rule that states that you can't bolt it down to the top of the frame rails? The radiator that I have is just a little too wide and has -12an fittings. It fits across the top rails and doesn't hang over. Don't really want to run without one. Thanks for your help. Don

About the only thing that the tech guys don't want hanging outside the frame rails is the fuel tank (and some are also picky about oil related stuff) and if your radiator does not hang over the rails you should be good to go on that front anyway.

Yeah, I am from the south--any further south and I would have been a bloody penguin.
