Although I am not a big fan of MSD products, I am pretty happy with the soft touch rev limiter.  I tried the autometer one, and it would shut down the engine outright Waaaa-Puh.....  I had to press the reset button to re-start the engine.  That really was a pain in the behind, not to mention really unsafe.

Im sure that all of the newer electronic ignitions with rev-limiters would work pretty well, Crane, Holley, Mallory, Jacobs, Electromotive, Accel, etc.
