are you running trans cooler and if so where did you mount it and what kind of cooler you using?
-
This is an old shot when I was still running a carburetor.
I ran steel lines from the transmission to the front of the dragster and mounted the cooler just in back of the fuel tank.
Now that I run mechanical injection all the plumbing for the electric fuel pump is gone.

I dont, one less thing to start leaking. Just a looped line to the tranny ports.
If you are hot lapping the car like any of the super classes then ok, but if there is time between runs just run a fan blowing at the converter.

Yes I agree we don't run a trans cooler on our 190 mph JrFueler
-
No cooler . Just make sure you run a loop in and out where your cooling lines are .

No, and n/a
No need. It's not a bracket car nor a street car.
Trans never gets 'hot', and it cools down quickly in the pits.
