Title: trans cooler
Post by: hotrodharley on December 12, 2014, 11:33:12 PM: are you running trans cooler and if so where did you mount it and what kind of cooler you using?

I ran steel lines from the transmission to the front of the dragster and mounted the cooler just in back of the fuel tank.

Now that I run mechanical injection all the plumbing for the electric fuel pump is gone.

If you are hot lapping the car like any of the super classes then ok, but if there is time between runs just run a fan blowing at the converter.

No, and n/a

No need. It's not a bracket car nor a street car.

Trans never gets 'hot', and it cools down quickly in the pits.
