Title: Tubes or no tubes.
Post by: ricci32 on June 10, 2014, 06:56:05 AM
I have a low horsepower 120" front engine dragster 400hp. The prior owner Had mickey thompson et slicks 29.5 x 10.5 mounted on craiger ss reverse center rims tubeless had a 100 runs on this set up no issues. What do you guys think of this. also any way to get these tires not to leak air so much. also tires not screwed to rim.

If you coat the sidewalls on the inside with dish washing liquid it helps stop the leakage. I used Dawn for that fresh scent.  As far as screws go probably not that big a deal. Put a mark on the tire and wheel. If they barely move I wouldn't worry. If it moves an inch I would probably put some screws in them or try raising the air pressure.
