how many have one and what brand? my wife(er nurse) and I were discussing what to get. we looked at the nexgen rev video and she was totally against it even though it has good reviews. didn't like the helmet to device gap. I kind of agree with her.
opinions please.

I have a HANS Pro (all carbon) with the sliding tether upgrade and am very happy with it. I will say that it works best if you have the shoulder belt modification which narrows them down to 2" where they pass over the device as it allows the belts to sit totally inboard of the outer flange. As part of the sliding tether upgrade I also have the quick release d rings.

I have the Simpson Pro Rage and like it a lot . The only think I don't like is I can't hook the tethers by my self .

I currently use a HANS device and have been using on for the past 6 years. I started using the HANS when driving my SC Dragster because I had two spinal fusions i my neck and the Ortho Surgeon said he would only let me drive if I used the HANS. The wife agreed. I never had any problems associated with using the HANS, it just take a little bit of getting use to. I found that with the FED, it is better to put the HANS and helmet on before I get into the car and then my pit guy helps me finish the belts over the shoulder. I have been usin the HANS in my FED since 2010 with no problem. I also have the NHRA mandated - Good-Guys rules ISP Helmet pads on the sides of the roll cage.
