What make rear do I need

(1/3) > >>

JeffV8:
What year and size rear end should I get for my 1966/67 woody ????  I know it should be an Olds.

dreracecar:
They used a '49 olds at first and then switched out to Chrys 8 3/4, same physical size as the Olds with the same pinion offset. Hard to find parts and gear ratios for the early Olds. A Ford 9" is wrong for this car but a 8 3/4 is acceptable with Olds housing ends.

JeffV8:
Thanks Bruce.  8 3/4 it is.

Totally T:
Jeff, My Mark Williams was as Bruce described...8 3/4 with Olds ends.

JeffV8:
Did some research on mopar rear ends and now know what to get. Thanks guys.
