Is there anybody running this tire successfully on their altered? I'm planning on changing to this tire and looking for some input.

Thanks!

Need some more Info on your car, but as a rule Altereds like a wider tire -Dragsters like a narrower tire--Thats what works out here on the west coast

If a 33 X 15 fits, that would be a better tire choice.  Of course that also depends on engine and transmission.

Carl I used a Hoosier 12x33 on my FED but mine were a c09 compound . It is a pretty aggressive tire but as someone said might be a little narrow for an altered !

Thanks for the replies. My altered is a low horsepower deal so I have no need in wider tires. Only shooting for 5.50 index race. I know of one other altered that is running the same tire. I was just curious if there was anyone else running this tire with good results.
Thanks again,

Carl when I ran this tire they were pretty fast . Compared to the Goodyear 12x33 I would say they are a little stickier . The only thing I did not like about them is they shake very bad at the end of a burn out . I was running 6and a half lbs in them and think if we ran 7 they would have been better . They wad up real bad at the starting line so I think more pressure would help . A lot of the Comp guys are running that tire and going very fast ! Hope this helps you . Bill
