Drag Racing Discussions > Front Engine Dragsters
Hi from a British newbie.
MisteR Tee:
Thanks Glenn, I would just add that those captions are not mine, but the ones attached to the indivual pics. The only one that's mine is the one with the date stamp on it (yes, I know it says 2016, I can time travel!!), of the car on the trailer that came with the deal. I do have pretty much a complete photo history of the car from when first built to today, plus I have been in touch with all the previous owners (3). Sadly, the original builder, Dave Miller, died 4 years ago but I have spoken with his widow who was thrilled that his dragster is still around.
JeffV8:
That's great that you have all that history. And good looking car.
MisteR Tee:
Thanks guys, glad to be here & hope to learn a lot. Researching slicks at the moment as the ones on the car must be pretty old by now, but don't know that much about them as far as compounds etc. The wheels are 7 x 15 & the tyres on there are 26/8.0 x 15 Hoosiers, I really wanted to put white-wall pie-crusts on, however not only are they taller, they are horrendously expensive over here, so that's been sidelined & I'm on the lookout for Goodyear or even M & H (what was on it in the beginning). Anyone know about such things??
Dolmetsch:
Welcome. I love your car. I wouldn't change too much. Tis a classic and good looking too.

Welcome to the forum Maurice.
I recognise the car from the pod must have been the early 90's
Thanks for the wheel nuts and washers they fit spot on.
