Here is a couple pics from Saturday Night Nitro in Bakersfield. The first pic is a nice side view of car at SNN1, the second pic is at SNN2 with the front tires coming up after yanking second gear. I will have a video posted soon.

I thought the same thing when I first saw that picture. I bought the digital file from the photographer and it was red eye from the flash.

Aw, BS on that. You had eyes wide open for the experience and the sensory (over) load at launch. I bet finish line photo would have your eyes (and mine) as big as dinner plates, which is why I  think it's called the "big end", and for good reason. Even though tunnel vision is well in effect by then.
 I didn't make that comment as though it was a bad thing.
