Willys is painted
« on: September 19, 2013, 04:41:46 PM »
Hi all,
well the Willys is painted, now for the lettering. This winter the motor will be assembled, and if all goes well, hit the streets and track next spring.

Plan for this winter is to not do much to the dragster, and start on the 49 Chevy Gasser, I have a long way to go to get to your point.

a couple more pictures. Now the motor needs to be built and installed with the transmission. I also plan on lettering the doors and quarters like they did "back in the day".

Company for the 33 Willys gasser street car, a 49 Austin A40 pickup. Future plans call for a blown on alcohol small Chevy in front of a automatic transmission.

well I put some vinyl lettering on the car to try and get it to a show, Didn't make it. Now I will redo the lettering this winter with some oneshot and gold leaf. I'm going to make the black shadow larger and also increase the overall size of the lettering too. I'm going to order a new front axle from Ron Pope that is a few inches narrower than the one in there too
