Today we start to rebuild back together the FED after having the chassic stripped and powered coated,and the front and rear wheels.We have upped the HP to 510 at the motor with some good carb tuning and jetting and header tuning while on the dyno.New air induction,shift pionts,hotter ignition system,should also help,mrmopartech

Well,started piecing together my Enderle injection system. This is a whole new ballgame for me and should be interesting. I am going to send it out and have it set up.

The learning curve for alky injection gets steep real quick when you start from the beginning. Fortunately there are a lot of knowledgeable folks here on the site that are willing to answer your questions. I’d never run injection or alcohol before and wouldn’t have been able to run my junior fueler without the help and advice of some good people here and elsewhere. And you’ll probably find this new set-up interesting and challenging. It’s the challenge that makes it fun!

That's what I said too but everyone is telling me these will pick up some HP.  Going to give it a try.  Sounds like a SC dragster with them on.  Still bringing my zoomies to the track LOL

Should be an interesting performance comparison between headers & zoomies, especially with an engine as big as yours. Alan Ellis put zoomies on his A/AA along with an automatic trans this year and set the national record. Other than the classes that require zoomies, I never thought I'd see a record holding n/a comp car with zoomies.

Alan projected that zoomies would provide downward thrust for the car. The actual weight difference was only 10 lbs between the two exhaust systems, but the additional downforce allowed him to lighten the front of the car by 40 lbs. Downforce vs weight.

Ellis runs a Gray Motorsport Pro Stock motor on gas, does that mean we'll see Pro Stocks running zoomies next ?

I am interested in the tune up changes we will have to do from zoomies to headders. Will see this weekend.
If it jams force it, if it breaks it needed replaced anyways
