Funny Thing I knocked on all their doors just to let them know I was starting it so they were not surprised.
Older couple across street came out and cheered the wife was old TF BUG in Iowa in the 70 's

Now to get those ISP pads and start license passes.
Not sure if anyone saw the port hose leak when I wacked it so all the hoses got replaced right after that.
BV o-rings also had to be replaced.
hmm lets see 20% over or 27 % to start off with decision decision  ;D

I wish mine were the same way, Mine call the cops when I start mine.

They show up and ask if I'm done and then leave.

When we would start the AA/FA at home we would call the cops.
Local patrol guy was racer friend if he was on duty he came buy.
We told the neighbors the cops made us start it.

We have moved to a complex where it never get old starting the car.
Now if they would move the Day Care Center closer we might find some new fans!!!

My Dad was not a so called "Hot Rodder" but was always a gear head.   He was a farmer all his life and built a lot of machinery him self and enjoyed racing.  When he retired, he and mom moved to town. There was a guy down the street with a Pulling Tractor and most nights would Rev-Tune his engine.  While the neighbors complained, Dad thought it was COOL!

Once a Gear Head always a Gear Head!!   God bless you Dad!

Probably not as exciting as most, but I have got the frame stripped down of all parts so I can start to paint. Also started to clean up the diff housing, smooth it out ready to prime and paint.

It has been a beautiful day in Alabama and for the first time in quite a while I'm feeling good enough to enjoy it.  SOooo, I mounted my steering box on the new chassis.  (Roo Man saved me some money on the steering box, housing ends, spindles and a few other small things.) Roo also clued me in on the fact that these steering boxes are TIGHT when new, (I needed supervision).  I temp. assembled the steering just for grins and a photo op. These pieces will be going to Jason Lysaght for chroming, one of these days.  Also dropped the oil pan on the Loud Mouse, which was removed yesterday for a torque converter change and bottom check. New bearings en-route from Summit. Cheers, Allan

Made a new windscreen as my old one was cracked and scratched so I decided to go with all black and I think it turned out pretty good

Also, got motor back together after spinning all 8 rod bearings and installed in the car for Funny Car Fever on April 1st!!!  Decided to put in a new cam and hopefully it works.

I agree the burnout is awesome
