What did you do on your Front Engine Dragster TODAY?

MikenMpls:
Today i made new starter, battery and ground cables. I also found that i should be replacing all the front end heim joints as two have damage. I got the caster down to 20 degrees (from 40!) and finished bleeding the rear brakes. Tomorrow i need to mount new front tires and tubes, fix my oil pan and order some more parts for next saturdays work day. My goal is to have a true roller by May but only have saturdays to work on it. Wish me luck!

Roger:
If that's all it takes to keep you going, then I wish you good luck!

MikenMpls:
Thanks Roger! Today did not go well. The pan turned out to be too damaged to quick or easily repair. Now I need to buy a new one and I am having a hard time finding an exact replacement. All i see offered now are 1/2" taller (deeper)which I can make work but it won't be quick or easy. Then I cut an inner tube trying to mount the front  tires so I took them to the local motorcycle dealer to let them do it.
I did get the heads CC'd (64cc) and the valve spring length planned out. trying for a 1.550 spring with a 2" installed height and it looks like we can do it. I also ordered more parts. That is an easy part of this build!

Got my new rods on friday . Now it's time to put my motor back together . Still have to do a little clearance work on the rods they are cam clearanced but I have a couple of lobes that will just touch when they pass by the rod .
