Steve and I got together and cut down the standoffs for the belt guard.
So this is what we started with Note that the top pulley is JUST inside the guard and the way the guard comes from RCD the bolt heads are sticking out over the pulley.
So we pulled it all apart, cut a 1/4 inch off the standoffs, and machined counter sinks into the starter bracket so that the heads are flush.

70 degrees in N. Alabama today, 8) yippee! Had a choice of working on the dragster today, or....go to a little test n' tune/swap meet at I-22 Motorsports Park. Loaded some stuff I will never need ::) into the dually and headed out. Only 30 min from home but stayed all day and only sold 3 small items $180 total. Dropped the engine/trans into the chassis yesterday. Should have stayed home (resolved to do better tomorrow).
