What did you do on your Front Engine Dragster TODAY?

today my son installed the new distributor parts that i screwed up and we put it down to take it out for one test run in the driveway. nice to see it move. have a water leak on the mopar/buick intake i have to reglue and the brakes are working properly. other than that it was NICE!

Worked on a new scoop mount today . I am going to try my anteater scoop again . The last time I had it on the car I could not see anything in front of me . I cut about 3 inches off the bottom and fiberglassed a plate inside of it

Bill, It looks like you're going to be ready soon! Keep up the good work. I picked up a golf cart this weekend. Every little bit helps.

Finally..... fabbed my fuel shutoff lever and welded the cable bracket to the frame, using the same pivot as the chute cable. (Thanks Roo) Also welded the remote oil filter brackets in place. I have a Moroso filter (built like an Oberg) thats been lying around for 10 yrs. Hopefully it won't leak. ;D
