Sidewinder

That looks like a caravan based trailer similar to what I'm planning to use.

Do you have any more pics of it

Well my 69 panel now needs new trans seems the 3 spd broke today. Can not figure out what happened it was doing so well first 4 or 5 burnouts. I have new one anyway and just felt like playing some. Guess its time for the automatic install.
I should have remembered that those old 3 spds wouldn't take a lot I put 14 in a 66 pickup in less than year, back when I was younger and couldn't behave.Somethings never change.

Thabnks but its 20' paint and repair job that a a-hole did and took advantage of grandfathers age and bad eyesite. It needs total frame off restro. I have some parts, but not starting till I have everything to do chassis and body work. The engine, transmission swap and interrior are easy and cheap compared.

Lil brother owning body shop and doing great work on restrorations not bad.Throw in the lil guuilt trip about how truck was Pa's pride and joy helps some too.
Engine wise I have stroker crank, rods, pistons and heads waiting.Cam,lifters and intake are next on order list for it.Nobody says it can't have little extra torque and 42 extra cubes will do that. Than I have to decide on trans .Really want overdrive, just don't want a computer to have to be hooked to it.

Funny thing  grandfather bought it new in 69.Painted out of it all year then entered carshow as custom van and won most years. Then went back to painting. Sold truck in 1978,got 10k out of it.Found it in 1995 bought it back for 2200 and obviously the guy never  took care of truck. I rebuilt engine(maybe 750 miles since) and had idiot do body work and paint it. Some one needs to tell him 80 grit is not final sanding and you replace rusted lower quarters not put piece of metal over it and paint it.

I figure in about 14k it will top notch show ,go and tow. Going to make it look more like something my granfather would be proud of.By the way you have never seen a guy more picking about his vehicles than he was.
