Heritage race in Tulsa
« on: September 19, 2021, 07:35:45 AM »
Went to the heritage race in Tulsa Friday and Saturday and got to say for a small show it was really good to get out to the drags.
Definitely made me get excited. Hahaha made me want to start building a NTF motor. Hahaha

I had to leave early Saturday to fly back to Houston. Anybody know if there's somewhere I could see the results or some coverage of the event?

AAFD is your one stop shop for the Nostalgia Top Fuel class.

Horan got around Sorokin in the finals.

Also, check out Extreme Top Fuel.  They are 100% Heritage legal cars, based in the Midwest.

I was at Byron, IL for a day of the Glory Days drags, and both days of the Gas & Fuel drags at Sikeston, MO but never did ask anyone.....is there a purse paid at Nostalgia races, or is it strictly about running the car and having a great time? I really enjoyed both events I attended as a spectator!

For NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Series and Extreme Top Fuel races, yes there is a purse.

I believe Glory Days, Falls Out Drags, Meltdown Drags, and the such are fun run events with no ladder, no paring, no purse, and no formal class structure.

Well guess you will not be needing the JW case for that build.

Don't eel bad.If I did not have all this stuff left from TA/D and YA/FC days when I had money. I could even dream about getting on track. Why do you think I work on another guys A/fuel car?
