Dynastar trailer, new trucks and other questions.
« on: October 21, 2021, 08:03:03 PM »
So I have an 84 dynastar.  I like it. But I got a predicament. My gf don’t like her little suv and now she wants an F250 I’ve already got a f250 (gas 6.2) I tow with and I like it but was thinking a diesel might do it better, especially if we decided to race out west.  so I’ve been contemplating buying her a newer truck 2019 or newer with a diesel and use it sometimes to pull the trailer.
Is this doable I vaguely remember someone saying something about the bed height on the new trucks don’t work with the old trailers.
Also anybody know any info on the dynastar? Seems like a good trailer but it might need axles and brakes, trim, paint etc etc etc

Measure up from hook up to trailer and then do same on truck. If minor you could probably add a sleave in trailer to give little more height , Cpl piece of heavy wall tube should make it doable.

BW has a taller ball and off set that might help if you have a turn over ball.

Thanks! Heck I hooked it up and no problems a little close but a as long as I don’t go off-road it’ll be good! Thanks for the reply
