primer system jetting
« on: December 14, 2020, 10:35:39 AM »
Have a home made primer system on car and trying to figure jetting. Simple pump with solenoid to prevent pulling fuel thru pump and a bar in hat that has 4 holes ,one over two ports spraying up and letting air pull into cylinders. Works fine for firing car, not so well when mechanical pump and electric are both one. LOL  Would like to get car to point I can drive up to staging on primer and switch to mech. before doing burnout . Anyone have good starting point for jetting. I can jet in front of spray bar using main jet. Have a .065 but it is way off.
Relecting obama is like shooting right foot because it did not hurt enough when you shot left foot

What fuel are you using in your primer?

The Rons primer system uses some sort of adjustable flow control at the spray bar.
Never looked close but it looked like a pneumatic piece at a glance.

Chris I use the Rons primer plus on mine ! It's a 2 4 barrel setup and uses 2 .035 jets ! It also has an adjustable needle valve to fine tune it !
