Wheelie Bar net
« on: January 19, 2020, 08:46:27 AM »
I need a "longer than commercially available" wheelie bar net in the triangle shape. I have reached out to two companies and both apparently do not want to make one. Has anyone here had one made? If so which company did the net? Thanks!

Any shop that makes boat awnings / flying bridges / covers / etc has the capability to sew nylon webbing. I would just go to Harbor Freight or equivalent, buy a bunch of webbing as used on ratchet straps, lay the pattern out on a piece of cardboard and ask them to sew it together. For additional fire resistance you could soak it in a borax solution.

I gave Ben Conant a call @ DJ, told them how long i wanted it, how wide at the top & how wide at the bottom.  A couple days later a bitchen net showed up in a box.  :)  great service.

Just as you said one call to DJ Safety and it was a done deal! Can't thank you guys for the suggestion and Big Ben at DJ Safety enough for the service. I now have a great fitting wheelie bar net and will not stress out about the chute getting hung up on the bars...
