Torque vs stall speed
« on: September 26, 2019, 03:02:01 PM »
Thinking about a converter change ! The converter I am running right now is very loose 8200 stall on alky and it was ok when we were running 10 percent ! Using Spuds torque chart at 10 percent the motor picks up about 36 ft lbs but at 25 percent that we are going to run it picks up 94 ft lbs ! I have my nitrous converter that stalls at 6800 and I am thinking if I would be better off with the tighter converter !

if it helps.FTI told me I would pickup about 700 to 800 stal if adding 200 tq ( figuring of Spuds cal. and 30% load) If linear at 90 you should gain 300 to 350 stall.
