Mickey Thompson 10.5
Paul New:
Scott Parks mentioned that I should try the 33x10.5 MT on my car said my tires are to large D2070 Goodyear 33x14.5

maybe I missed something.Only 33x10.5 on M/T website is actually 14 wide about the same as you have Paul. Did I miss finding it? 3069? It does say for 10" wheel which would be good weight loss except tires do weigh 33 lbs,I think about 8lbs Heavier than the GY That Jon sales. Probably about same weight as tire you are running and same width so only big gain would be in wheel weight you would loose. JM2 cents which is probably over priced.

Chris I think the big problem is that the tire is so sticky that it won't spin at all on my car ! I had the same problem with the Hoosier 12x33 but it was not as bad as the Mickey ! I had a friend video the tire at the hit and it and it dose not sqat at all and takes forever to shift ! Others on this forum have had the same problems with these tires like Crider ! A lot of the Top dragster and bracket guy's love the Mickey Thompson tire and I think that they are ok for that type of car but I still think that a soft sidewall tire is the quickest way to get down the track !

we just did orange drag reunion on sterling airport in ma. it's only 330' of runway. there was 5 dragsters there and i'm pretty sure everybody has m/t's on them. I think we were the only ones using a 10.5W on a 10" rim @ 9.5lbs. we were the only ones going straight, while the other were moving around. there was one fool again (could use worse terms) that goes all over the track because he is all over the track. told him he needs more air, but doesn't listen, don't like running with him at all.
another had 29.5's on it. definitely a door car tire. told him it really needs new and better tires to stop the squirrelyness. he's gonna get 10.5W's for it.
my .02 peso's
