You can only work with what you can control. If you make a run or lets say two runs and car isconsistent. You swap wheels and make a run with almost exact conditions weather wise and car picks up x amount You can be almost positive it was that change,No different than changing jet and car picking up.At same time if you follow above criteria and there is zero or less than expected change you have good indicator it had less than figured effect.

I did not ask for guarantee  I made friendly wager while  tipping the reward to risk ratio in Jon's favor. Not trying to scam anyone.Hey I will eventually buy a set of wheels, but if I can get chance to get them at 75% off sooner.I will gamble it. Heck Right now I have to get car out and figure out the tune for consistency and then?

Your mind moves in direction what most of us want to accomplish, dissect every individual item and make it better, to go faster at reasonable cost.  And have to agree with your modify tuneup and see immediate change, we’ve all done that over and over.  The front wheels, still seems a tough wager to collect on…

I really believe that there are significant advantages to going lighter. Performance is obviously the biggest. For example, I've studied the Junior Fuel cars closely and they actually do better than the "100 lbs.= a tenth" rule. For J/F cars, 100 lbs.=0.16 seconds all other things being equal. That's a big deal if your running Comp Eliminator. For a J/F car, 100 HP=0.26 seconds. Lighter cars are easier on parts too! I was lucky enough to acquire a lot of free titanium hardware so that really helped with the cost

Hi Chris... Yeah, I was really luck to score all of that Ti hardware. Also, Jerry Bickel was a huge help with sheet magnesium that they used to use in the old Pro Stock trucks. Scott and Frank are obviously the BEST. I'm not positive what it rolls to the line at. After a run it's 1360 with me in it.

Computer program says 6.80's for what that is worth. Anything below 7.00 and I will be happy for that day anyway.LOL Heck its only 482 ci,496ci,526 ci or 540 if go with new pistons. 482 for now and maybe one of other combo's later only one that would cost is the 540.

One big one I left off list is Data recorder. Not cheap but can save a ton in wasted runs to find something.
