storing the wheelie bar in the Trailer

(1/2) > >>

MikenMpls:
Quick question, how are you storing your wheelie bars during transport in your trailer?  Making mounts in my trailer for a 6ft wheelie bar is proving to be difficult. I am looking for something simple but secure and lightweight. Thanks for your photos and suggestions!

wideopen231:
NO pics.We had a aluminum tube with tabs welded to match mount point son bar attached to wall and a cup fow wheel to sit in at bottom.Simple quick pins thru mounting holes and small bungi at bottom.Took 30 seconds to tie down or remove.Oh yea we had third bar bungi down to others, but it was built so pulling pin allowed it to collapse for storage. Hope thats stated clearly.

THE FRENCHTOWN FLYER:
That's almost exactly how I do mine. Wheel down, bracket with push pins up top. The top bracket has a 4" link in the center to align with the middle tube that pivots at the wheel, with a third push pin.

Next to that I have a similar bracket to hold my fiberglass nose piece up out of the way - with Dzus buttons.

glofria:
Wrap it in a blanket and lay it on the floor.

We stand the WB up , wheel down , and strap it to an upright in our trailor, simple, no issues
