My name is Don Ross I have been a metal worker in my family's architectural metal shop since 1963. In 1996 I went out on my own to build Hot rods and do custom metal work. I have since worked my way heavily into the restored and recreated dragster field. I am currently retro fitting a current JR. fuel car with a wider front axle ,torsion bar and older type nose piece. Also I am recreating a replica of the Jim Nicoll dragster as seen on every broadcast of the Indy U. S. Nationals with the clutch cutting the car in half and Jim in the roll cage as he goes over the guard rail. I also have put on hold the recreation of my old partnership car The U. S. Kids AA/FD.

Thanks guys, I hope I can be an asset to the site. As for remembering some of you, I meet a lot of people at these gatherings. If you are around me again don't hesitate to come up and remind me. I'm usually thinking about my car or cars I'm working on. just trying to make a living and have fun.
