I use a spacer on end of crank between the damper and the lower gear to space damer out IIRC about .200 thick range--worked perfect to get my Romac out far enough so it did not hit pump flange and that is with Enderle cover  Cheap easy to make
I have always had a fascination with fast cars at the expense of more normal character development

I assume with that cover you are running a chain cam drive, not a belt drive.

I bought the .150 spacer from alkydigger.  It was necessary to move the balancer out so it would clear at the oil seal. I did still have to trim the pump extension some to clear. A thicker spacer would have worked too. It's a done deal now. :)
