Hello to all the forum members
My name is Mark I am a 55 year old light rail electro mechanic That just purchased a late 60 early 70's FED according to the NHRA inspector who just certified the Chassis. I have only fired this thing up twice and have not driven it. It has just moved into the garage from the trailer and will be torn down to update all of the safety equipment for the NE1 class it ran in prior to me owning it. After that I will try moving it around at idle in a empty parking lot prior to taking it to the track. My car was last run in 2010 on the west coast. I have turned wrenches for a long time but have no experience maintaining a blown race Hemi. I am open to all advice in learning about what it takes to get one of these things down the track. I wanted one of these things since I was a kid building models so here we go! Just an old guy trying to squeeze in to a race car
