wheelie bar

dgrossmann44:
Looking for a starting point dimension for setting the wheelie bar of the pavement ? Have a 175" FED with a BBC 33X15X15 Rear tires. Also how many RPMS should we expect to spin during a burn out  w/5500 stall. Thank You

Paul New:
Burnout RPM’s is totally dependent on your right foot! They come up quick!

rooman:
Wheelie bar height depends on the length and stiffness of the bar itself, how hard the chassis rotates at the step, how much the car squats into the tires, etc.

Seems like good starting point is a few inches or less    mine likes 2 3/4 in  higher and she leaves more violent and real high you are on a crazy ride

Frontenginedragsters:
That's lots of rear tire.
Your wheelie bar setting is very important.
Start low and raise it up a little at a time.
Been there, done that.
