Elijha's Chariot update
« on: January 08, 2018, 07:53:21 AM »
So some of you know I took out the two speed and install 3spd B&J to help 60 times and keep engine in power band better.
I had a 56% two speed with a 4:30 gear and it had 1.22-1.26 60 times leaving at 5k-6k two disk pedal clutch.
so the B&J now is 1.92 low and 1.35 second.
So I started at same tune up for clutch and all well needless to say it shook hard first pass right from the starting line.  :o
So took 20 grams off to see if big change will help it ran 1.13 60 and 723@190  at 4k launch so much better little shake at top of low gear.
But it ate 20 thou off clutch so added 16back on it for third pass but injector line split at startup so we packed it up and headed home.
Next trip is Feb 16.

Race cars are so much fun!  :-\

I run kind of a weird combo in my car 3.70 rear gears a B&J with 2.09 low and 1.45 second. I also run a 10” Crower 2-disk big stand. I am thinking about dropping down to a 1.40 second but have not pulled the trigger on that plan sometimes it gets a little aggressive on the 1-2 shift! It’s a bummer you only got one hit this last weekend?
