Recently I've scene and bought Dzus Fasteners with a hex receiver instead of a screwdriver slot and I highly recommend buying them.

i thought/wondered about the hex head dzus fasteners.  i need to get about 50 or so dzus.  steel or alum and why do you like the hex better?

I also highly recommend the aluminum hex dzus.
You can really get a good bite into dzus with a hex headed driver. (available from Jegs and probably other sources).
There is also a lot better chance of damaging the paint because of the screwdriver slipping off on a standard flat blade dzus.

I buy all my hex dzus from Frank parks.   I love them.  3/16" t-handle works great on them.

Exactly!

A nice even push and twist withe a T-Handle Allen Key.

Aluminum on aluminum, fiberglass and I'm not sure about carbon fiber, but I would use aluminum too. Steel on steel.

I get ours at a local speed shop, but this distributor has a wide selection: https://www.southco.com/en-au/product/hierarchy.html?hid=7345

I have a lithium powered 3/8 drive mini impact wrench, hardly ever use a ratchet anymore - best tool I ever brought. Small, light, power full, lasts for ever, came with 2 x batteries. I will be buying another when car hits track, also a 1/2 one for wheel nuts etc. Quality ones expensive but you wont regret it. Glen
