racerken:
So sorry.  Wish there was something I could do to help..

nitroscott:
My shop has recovered (thanks for the well wishes. I am starting my FED Jr Fueler project back up. I am using TF specs on this chassis no telling where it will end up. It has a 225" wheelbase with the engine out 50 inches. Should I fasten the bottom part of the mid plate to the frame? Seems like a good idea but I have never seen anyone do it. If the mid plate is fastened in four points it seems like it would support the frame better. I could be wrong. Let me know what you think I have thick skin.

THE FRENCHTOWN FLYER:
I think it is best to have a chassis upright in close proximity to the block plate, with an attachment at both the top rail and bottom rail.

nitroscott:
I read that putting the motor plate upright right next to mid plate will help seal the cockpit from fire. So it is ok to attach the bottom of the plate to the lower frame rail?
