no oil pressure
George:
I have experienced the same on a very similar setup. I prime the oil system and fire it. Oil pressure comes right up.
Frontenginedragsters:
Pull the distributor and prime the oil with the correct tool before you do anything else.

Bruce, I never assume the obvious.
Could be the gauge took a dump. scene that happen too. Is it electric or mechanical?
Have heard some Titans Pumps get an air bubble in them and won't work. :-\
Pat Johnson:
Thanks everyone, problem solved. motor oil was very slow since its 50w, also found some silicone that must have fallen thru one of the oiling holes from the valve cover gasket, after that, pulled the Mag and spun the pump over, had instant oil pressure ,Thanks again folks,Racers helping racers .Many heads are better than one.

I can only go by what the man writes on his post, change oil is to replace what was there, drain oil as to remove all contents to fill at a later time. so in effect the oil was drained, not changed. Nothing coming out of the block to the gage as in one pulled the line and rotated the engine and no oil squirted out the line could not make the reasoning for the gage being bad or good. Whatever, issue has been resolved
