Chrome plated roll bars have not been allowed to be installed since prior to helmet bars being installed. Does your car have 1" diameter helmet bars?

I think the ruling on chrome roll cages is you cannot do it any more so the older cars with them are OK..... I think

The year they came up with that rule, the cover of the rulebook had a roadster with a chrome cage ;D

Yes Paul it has 1inch helmet bars.

Interesting are those bars chrome also? Or did they grind chrome off to weld the helmet bars on?

They ground the chrome off,the update was done at S&W ,they also certified the chassis for 7.50,this was done before i bought it.
