Blower Restraints

(1/5) > >>

arush:
I will be running a blower on alcohol.
Can I run 14.1 restraints or do they have to be a 14.2 ?  (big difference in prices)

Is there an ET where a 14.2 becomes mandatory ?

I normally do not run any national events but would like to make some passes at the HHRR this year at Bowling Green.

The local tracks around this area will not nothave a problem

dreracecar:
Absolutely run the 14-1 legal to 6.00 seconds when alc is used for fuel
14-2 is the addition of a bag
14-3 is a bag and bottom plate to be used when nitro is used for Fuel

arush:
Thats great news.
Appreciate the clarification Bruce.

Paul New:
14.3 also required for AA/AM not something most of us would run but some do run more than just the nostalgia classes

buickfed:
me and my oddball buick run an old b&m 162 with a 6 rib belt. belt protection not required. building another intake for 4-71 and will be running a 16 rib belt. do you think I need belt protection and restraints for this?
aren't you glad you don't run stuff like this.  ;D ;D ;D
