If you want to build a FED with  VW engine , there is one in Redding Ca, at Wolfgang VW, he runs an aftermarket VW on Nitro, with a PG.
Steve gets some help from Gene Adams, once Gene found out his VW heads flow more then the Hemi heads for Gene's sons Heritage A/F car that has won 7 out 8 NHRA Heritage  A/F Chamionships
I sounds Assume . If you want more info, call Steve at 530-246-4264, he also has a RED VW with turbos.
I've helped Steve run his FED VW on nitro at the VW event in Fontana, you might want to check it out, call Steve to make sure he'll be racing at the next VW event.

Have Fun,
Jon

Ive known Steve for 37 yrs...   the RED is for sale, it has pauter big block in it.  he might sell without if interested.  Bill Comstock built his FED (and mine), if you want to talk to Bill, i can get you his information.

i dont know of any for sale in the vw world.   wouldnt take much to mod one for vw.  its just about making it so the engine can fit in the chassis and pass tech.
