Nitro % caculator

Hey Spud
On your site you have a Fuel calculator for % and temp  entires.

Do you a formula for entering  Specific Gravity and temp to get percentage?

Jim Hatley had a great one on the web and now his site is down looks like he may have left this earth.

So I enter 1.092 and temp of 67 result is **.* percent
Most fuel charts jump 7-8 on gravity and 2-4 degrees on temp
we run 82-92 percent depending on track and weather

Merry Christmas to All.

 I have the great big hairy formula that takes TEMP and PERCENTAGE and delivers a precise SG. You could take that and solve for PERCENTAGE I guess. I don't have time to do it right now...sorry!

In spreadsheet speak with PERCENTAGE and TEMP substituted in for input cell numbers:

SG=((((100-(PERCENTAGE))*(0.792))+((PERCENTAGE)*1.139))/100)*POWER((528/(TEMP+460)),(1/3))

 Ha! ;)

My online fuel calculator is smart phone friendly...you could do it from the track.

Or I could post a spreadsheet here...you'd need a computer and Excel at the track though.

I could also provide the temp/SG chart. You could look it up on the paper chart at the track.
