Introduction

     Hello, I'm new to this site. Wow it has a lot of good information. I am looking forward to learning.
I have a 55 chevy I run with the Gassah Guys at Winterport Dragway in Maine. My best is 6.86 @101.15  BBC , Muncie 4 speed.

Thank you.  I'm lucky to have fellow racers updating their cars, so I buy their used parts .
Not having tons of money in my car makes it more fun to me. Not having luck posting pictures, but I'll get it soon.

Specs:  used BBC 454 stock block + .06 , used stock cast crank
used ls6 pistons, new procomp rods, used comp cams roller 680/680, used crower lifters
new brodix bb-2 plus rectangle heads. used dart open plenum intake
used 850 holley, new strange 4.86 gears w/ full spool, new hoosier 29 9 15 slicks
new MSD ignition 6400 rev limit , rebuilt Muncie m20 trans w/ used hurst vgate shifter.

Thank you.  Rollbars are required after certain ets. My car is updated a lot from these pictures, I'm trying to find some to post.
