Not to jump on someone else's thread on weight.Finally got car to point that weiging it was possible.Target was 1550# and as always hoping for less.Not to be,YET.

225" Solid block TFX with billet heads Hemi,powerglide, short body and wheelie bar(15#) ,full saferty gear and all fluids 1605#.Full body adds 20 more to total.Thought I watched every item close,machined every ounce  that could safely be shaved.Guess I missed about 880 ounces.

Have deal with carbon fiber company on few pieces  .New injector whould save pound or two.Smaller chute on way and some aluminum bolts where can safely be used.May pull 15# off after that its going to get very costly and this is still a bracket car.Plus new ceramic bearings will help more than 2 or 3 pounds at same cost.

Before comments driver is already down to 225 from almost 280.
Relecting obama is like shooting right foot because it did not hurt enough when you shot left foot
