Last year they announced on 10-21-15, so I expect at CHRR time.

If memory serves me correct, they usually announce after the Division 7 Winter Track Association meets.

Bryan, have you asked management at Wild Horse Pass if they plan to run a Heritage Series race again next year?

Kindly disregard. I went and looked for myself. They have it listed on January 20-22.

However, it still remains to be seen if NHRA is going to sanction the series next year. Each year I wonder if NHRA will keep it going.

I will ask Chuck OR Victoria  this weekend we are running get car at the Robosorus WFA show Saturday.

I hope they do I would like to run the series this year.

After I talked to a Heritage staff member, it looks like 2017 will be Jan 20-22 Phoenix, group one and two, March 2-5, March Meet Bakersfield , all classes, April  7-9, Sacramento, group one & two,  no Salt Lake City, and Oct 13-15 for group two, and Oct 20-21 for CHRR group one, NFC , NTF , NE-1, & A/G. The schdule will be listed soon, but not officail yet.
For two years I have been trying to get a Heritage points race for Group 1 & 2 in Fontana, but for 2017 the track does not want the event. It's mostly because of their noice restriction. they think A/FD will be too loud, so I suggested group two and group one with-out A/FD, and make Sonoma a A/FD a points race, since A/FD has been running at the Div 7 race in Sonoma exabition only for the last 3 years. But so far it's a no-go for Fontana. Tucson has expressed some interest but no responce so far.

Well it looked like Wild Horse had scheduled 1-20-23 for kick off of Heritage 2017 schedule now it's gone and I here might be moved to the 1-14th.
Still nothing official from NHRA on series site.

Bryan, I think you found the dates for 2016, they still list the 2017 dates for Heritage for Jan 20-22,
 rumor has it Group one might have a second race in Sacramento sometime in June, that looks like it would replace the Salt Lake City race.
If true that would make at least 5 Heritage races for 2017 for group one & two.

 March 2-5 March Meet, Famoso, all Heritage classes,
 April  1-2 Sacramento , Gp 1 & 2,
May 5-7 Firebird Raceway, NFC,
 June 16-17, Sacramento #2 Gp 1 & 2,
 June 15-17, HHRR, Beech Bend Raceway, N/TF, and the other non Heritage points classes they usaully run,
 Jult 22-23 Mission Raceway Park , N/FC,
 Aug 10-13, Firebird Raceway, N/TF & N/FC,
 Aug 25-26, Rocky Mountain Raceways [ Salt Lake City] N/FC,
 Sept 16-17 Famoso, Group 2,
 Oct 20-22, Famoso [ CHRR] N/TF, N/FC, Group 1 & NE-1 [ no points] A/G [ no points]
The dates should be posted on the Heritage site in a few days.

I have added the evens to the calendar. By adding them to the calendar it creates a post in this thread for each event. As that event get close, if I were you, I would add a post to that thread to move it to the top of the event category.
