crank shaft work
speedbump:
hi guys, I'm trying to find a crankshaft shop in or around the conn. area to have my shaft off set ground and cut. i have it with someone now but he had it for over a year and hasn't worked on it yet. i really need to find some one else that i can rely on. tired of waiting. thanks mike
JrFuel Hayden:
I use a real good crank shop, Marine Crankshaft, 714-549-2388, that most of the racers use in many states. Most of the time I get it back in a week. Ya it's not in Conn, but if you don't find a good shop, you could just ship it to SoCal. I know they can do what you want, one of our JrFuel racers had them off-set grind a crank. A lot of well known race engine shops use them.

thanks for your reply. calif. is a bit to far but i will keep it in mind. thanks again mike
jeff/21:
ask other racers in your area who they use, if your guy hasn't done it in a year has no interest in doing it or doesn't know how. the guy I use index and cuts another groove and strokes it and you get it back with in a week and even does welded strokers on weird stuff from John Deere to rice burner

Contact Nick @ Shafttec in Fostoria, Ohio. They are a full service Crank Shaft ONLY shop. They do Callies Crank repair work. I have had shafts done there for sometime now. A little pricey, but they do a first class job and You wont wait a Yr.
