Front steering for digger

I am looking as many pics of front steering types being used on our diggers.Our digger is a 69 S&W?? with a center pivot steering with equal length tie rods.Now I want to know opinions on this and what you guys/gals think is the best,so i can inprove the handling and slow turning getting on to the track .Do we have picture sections I can get to,with different section to used as a reference????,mrmopartech

If the front end is solid, then there is no difference in steering styles. Now where ease of steering is desired the front spindle steering arms should have Ackerman built in. What that means is, a straight line from the kingpin to the center of the rear end,the center of the rod end must be on that line,. What this does is makes the inside wheel turn sharper then the outer and the front wheels track thru the arc without scrubbing
