5th NDRL Race at US 131 Motorsports Gate Time Info

The event runs Sept 9-10. No run schedule as of yet.

Gates open at US 131 Motorsports Park, Martin MI, at 9 am Friday Sept 9th. They will have staff on hand to direct NDRL racers to our pit areas.

If you plan to arrive on Thursday, they have a big entry drive area to stage our rigs overnight.

Alternatively, there is a Walmart Super Center in Plainwell, Michigan, exit 49 (Allegan Street-Route 89) on US 131. The city of Plainwell is just South of the track. The Walmart is just West of US 131 on the South side of Allegan Street-Route 89.

THIS IS A TENTATIVE SCHEDULE FOR THE US 131 EVENT

As always there are things that get in the way of keeping on time or the order may be tweaked.

NDRL program and the Funny Car show are the premier events happening and the track will make all attempts to keep us on schedule baring any mishaps.

Pit Parking will be done by the track on an first come basis, with the Funny Cars getting a center stage location. They will have some prime parking behind the tower but only for approximately 10-12 rigs. Then they will be forced to pit in the regular pits to the north of the pit area as their southern pit spots are reserved spots for local bracket racers that earned the privilege. It looks to be a big pit with plenty of space for all.

The NDRL race at Martin has officially been rained out. NDRL had the option to race on Sunday but the NDRL Race Director took into account the amount of hours involved in traveling, the safety of the drivers and vehicles and pulled the plug on the event.
