Two small Deka 12v batteries wired together to make 24v. Small and pretty light. Parks sells the little box they sit in and it has a handle to carry it around. Turns the motor over fast for efficient starts. Haven't burnt up a starter yet.

We did get goodyear to agree to make 160+ tires. Good thing too cuz we're running our last years set to start off the season and have no spares. The 31x12 (D2585) is 8 pounds lighter than any other jr fuel legal tire out there.

Cranks that weigh 36 pounds, modified Honda connecting rods, ceramic bearings on the front spindles, and lots of other tricks make Frank and Scott at tough pair to beat!
