I hear some radial guys are gluing tires to the wheels, any idea what they are using?

Maybe try glue and mark the tire?

Thinking in "nostalgia mode" i should just soften the launch anyway.

I have never used the tranny brake to launch my car, only the hand brake at high idle--- Its what works for me

Did use Tip Top Remaxx anti gliss  for many years to glue tire to rim and never had any problem with it.

PSweeney:
some use Permantex  . I have the same dilemma, but I think I will run without screws and watch it along.
