Howdy.
Firstly,  I have a pair of M/T 31x13x15 's (part number 3072) M/T lists them at being 98" circumference. I'm looking to go to a 10.5 or 11" tyre and liked their 31x10.5x15 W (PN 3068W) which they list at 99" circ.  I measured my existing at 5psi on a 10" rim and they measure 100"?. Hoosier list a 29.5x10.5x15 (PN18192)with a 96" circumference which is closer to 30.5" Dia.  How can I buy a set of tyres when the dimensions are all over the joint? What do I believe - is one maker better than the other when it comes to this?
And secondly, Does anybody run M&H Racemasters? They have list the right size for me 10.5 x 30.5 @97" circ (MHR094) but I had a pair in the very early 1980's on a clutch auto equipped FED and they were  inconsistent run to run.
Interested in your thoughts.
Cheers

Not sure I would sweat a 1" or 2 on rollout.Weight would be more concern to me.
As for MT's most bracket race guys that have gone from hoosier to MT swear by them for consistency.
As for tire you ran in 80's .All tires have come a long way as far as hook, consistency and for most part durablity.

Before you pull the trigger on that 10.5 w talk to some one about that tire . I am not sure but I think the w tire is meant to go on a wide rim like 14 inches wide !

buickfed:
we run m/t 31 x 10.5w-15's at 8.5 lbs. came with the chassis. we don't have any problems, but we don't run big h/p. 350 buick w/162 b&m s/charger. run 10.2's @ 129.

wideopen231:
MT spec sheet has that tire with 14" tread width on 10" wheel
