Randy,
apart from restorations I usually use a cable deal. That way is is a lot easier to get from the pedal to the throttle arm with just about any induction package. It also makes it easier to change things if the engine combo changes. Don't use the red jacketed Morse cables though as they are not flexible enough. I use the same stuff as the fuel cars, a gray jacketed deal with a spiral wound reinforcement. You can tie knots in them and they still work.

ya I have tried the stiff cable and it a battle to force into place, but surpriseing enough the steel cable kit that Speedway has for a few bucks has been the easys for me to work with but for ends on the cable I had to do a little planing for that part. The cable in the picture is the stiff one and very hard to work with.

I need to redo some of my cables and I'm considering the Pro-Werks SILVER JACKET Cables:

I saw them at the IMIS show (Indy) and they seemed quite nice. Anybody here using these?

The cable that Roo Man is talking about is what was used on my Dragster. It is very flexable, but also has another advantage, the end is very small and got through a very small hole.
